Antwerp Port Authority Expands Presence in South America

Antwerp Port Authority has expanded its presence in South America with the appointment of three new representatives: Fernando Bustamante, German Calderon and Henrique Machado Rabelo. Together they will make the advantages of Antwerp as a port better known throughout South America, and will strengthen existing contacts.

Each of the new representatives will exploit his own niche, network and specialisation, creating closer links with manufacturers (shippers) and the shipping world (shipping companies and ports). In line with the Port Authority’s development policy, the three representatives will emphasise the three sectors in which Antwerp plays a leading role, namely forest products, fruit and steel. They will also focus particular attention on the latest developments in the biotech sector.
