At our office in Farmsum we're looking for a:
Planned Maintenance Specialist

As Planned Maintenance Specialist you ensure the availability of an up-to-date database with all the spare parts that are required on our vessels. A database where all the relevant information is brought together and retrievable in a coherent and consistent way.

What will you be doing?

You think together with the Technical Service and Purchasing Department and ensure that colleagues have all the product information they need. You are an all-round specialist in the area of maintenance and spare parts in planned maintenance and purchase systems. This means you can express product information in clear terms. Within MF Shipping Group you are the database specialist for planned maintenance. You fulfill the back-office function in respect of maintenance and spare parts for colleagues from your team and other departments.

You keep the product offer in our database up-to-date and make sure the information is available in a structured format.
You maintain contact with the vessels and colleagues in relation to modifications of the database regarding maintenance and/or spare parts.
You ensure the maintenance plans based on the suppliers’ instructions are distributed across the systems in question.
You ensure the information is correct, clear and complete; for example consider pricing, the range, titles, product information, and the various filter categories.
Structure, write or rewrite information that relates to the product.
Order the various product categories.
Consider the division of the database and identify proactively when something goes wrong or could be better, and produce a solution.

What are we looking for?

You are able to master a database quickly.
You can categorise technical maintenance instructions and the required parts.
You know how to translate complicated material into information that is understood across the organisation.
You are flexible and you can switch quickly between various technical or other subjects and product groups.
You have commercial insight and you are able to obtain the right information from suppliers.

What do we require?

Technical education at intermediate vocational level 4 or Nautical College/Maritime Academy or Marine Engineer B.
At least three years of work experience in shipping or an associate sector.
Analytical ability and a love of detailed work.
Fluency in Dutch and English languages, spoken and written.
Being able to read and understand German texts is an advantage.
Experience with a CMS system in the maritime sector is an advantage (SFI Coding System).
Good mastery of Microsoft Office and of Excel in particular.

We offer you a good salary; maximum € 4.541 gross per month for a full-time job.
