Titan LNG currently operates three LNG bunker vessels and is in the middle of a new build program for five additional vessels, with substantial further growth expected in the coming years. Furthermore, Titan LNG is one of the biggest suppliers of LNG via trucks to industrial users and LNG fueling stations. To support this fast-paced growth Titan LNG is looking to hire a Project Manager. Role & Job Environment

Reporting to the Fleet Development Director, the Project Manager new builds will play a key role in the development of Titan LNG’s fleet of LNG bunker vessels.

The Project Manager new builds will be responsible for the realization of new build projects from internal concept development to delivery. The position requires a hands-on mentality coupled with a strong -technical or operational- background in the maritime sector. The Project manager shall be responsible for creating, executing and continuous adjustment of a project plan per Titan LNG’s fleet development standards and strategy. The Project Manager will engage and manage subcontractors as well as allocated internal naval and systems engineering resources.

You will be part of a growing company with a dedicated -and growing- team in charge of asset development and the technical aspects of Titan LNG’s operations. The role will be based in Amsterdam at Titan LNG HQ. Occasional travel to liaise with project partners will be required. The employer functions as part of an international team in a fast-paced environment showing initiative and creativity to add value to a rapidly growing business. The employee should be eager to dive into the world of LNG bunkering, its related systems and associated vessel, construction and operational considerations.

Description of tasks and responsibilities

Lead a team of engineers and internal consultants to execute the project on time and budget
Assist with internal concept development per TITAN’s philosophy and standards
Co-draft basis of design and technical specification documents for design and new build (supervision) tenders, and where needed, perform underlying analyses.
- Draft tender documents vessel and systems design, site supervision, vessel management
- Draft Basis of Design documents for the Vessel and selected essential equipment.
Responsible for follow up of internal tasks such as marine and systems engineering, document reviews, and alignment with other disciplines such as operations, HSE and finance.
Follow up on Construction, Commissioning and Trials, on behalf of TITAN or together with TITAN’s project partners
Project administration, monitoring and forecasting for internal reporting.
Occasional: Project Management of repair/upgrades/periodic surveys/dry-docking of Titan LNG vessels or assets.
Occasional: Project Management of Titan LNG individual bunker projects

Qualifications and experience

Masters’ or Bachelors’ degree in maritime engineering or similar
Background in Naval Architecture / Marine Engineering / Seagoing experience or similar
At least 2-3 years of proven Project Management experience.
Strong communicative skills and proficient in English
Demonstrated self-reliance and independence.
Prior experience with LNG carriers or LNG-experience would be a benefit
