Commenting on the appointment Ron Emerson, Chairman of Fairfield Energy, said:

On behalf of the Board I am delighted to welcome David Peattie as CEO of Fairfield. He brings a wealth of experience born from a long career within the oil and gas industry and we are very much looking forward to his stewardship of the business as it continues to grow. David joins at an extremely exciting time for Fairfield. With a group of supportive shareholders we are well capitalized, we continue to make extremely good headway in the development of our existing portfolio, and have a world class team throughout the organization. All these factors combine to make Fairfield’s a very compelling story for the months and years ahead.

I would like to give a considerable vote of thanks to Chris Wright, the retiring CEO. He has been critical in positioning Fairfield over the past 2-3 years, and it would be difficult to over emphasize the contribution he has made. He has deftly led the business to this key point and he hands the reigns over with the company in its strongest position since its founding seven years ago.
