Maersk Extends Contract for Skandi Caledonia PSV

DOF and Maersk Oil North Sea UK Limited (Maersk) have agreed a 3 year extension of the contract for Skandi Caledonia Platform Sup. Maersk had, in accordance with the charterparty for the vessel, an option to extend the contract period with one year from 1st October 2012.

This one yearly option has now been replaced by a three year firm period. The rate for the new period is up approximately 25% compared to the present rate.

Skandi Caledonia is a large PSV built in 2003. The vessel has worked for Maersk since delivery in 2003.
