NVE Invites Suppliers to Provide Assessments of Renewable Energy Production at Sea

The Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate (NVE) invites suppliers to an open tender contest in connection with the procurement of expert reports for strategic environmental impact assessments of renewable energy production at sea.

The assessments shall provide a comprehensive assessment of environmental and land use interests prior to the opening of areas available for development of renewable energy production. The procurement comprises 8 expert reports, and tenders can be submitted for one or more of the studies.

1. power generation and wind conditions.

2. technology and cost development.

3. fish, marine mammals and benthic communities.

4. business and employment.

5. cultural heritage and cultural environment.

6. Landscape.

7. outdoor recreation and tourism.
