Trapoil's Finance Director Resigns

Trapoil, the independent oil and gas exploration, appraisal and production company focused on the UK Continental Shelf (“UKCS”) region of the North Sea, announces the resignation of David Kemp, the Group’s Finance Director.

Kemp will remain with the Group until 12 April 2013, during which time he will have effected a handover to John Church. John Church will assume the role and responsibilities of Interim Finance Director with effect from 13 April 2013 pending the appointment of a full time permanent replacement. John was involved as the Company’s Finance Director at the IPO in March 2011 and is currently Financial Controller and Company Secretary. He has worked closely with Kemp on all aspects of the Group’s finances. He is a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years experience across a wide variety of industries.

Kevin Watts, Chairman of Trapoil, commented:

David has made a substantial contribution to Trapoil and leaves the Group on a sound financial footing. We are understandably sad to see him leave but appreciate his desire to accept a significant posting with a major service provider to the oil and gas industry. We wish him every success in his future career.
