What you may expect
To ensure a high reliability of our fleet the Technical Operations department is of crucial importance. Within the department the Reliability & Maintenance team is responsible for the strategic and operational framework to make choices in design, maintenance and repair works. The goal of this framework is to improve reliability, reduce risks and reduce total cost of ownership.
The main objective of the Maintenance Engineer E&I is to provide support for Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation related questions & challenges. You are responsible for:
- Planned maintenance framework and content of maintenance jobs for E&I systems on the fleet.
- You will develop and maintain predictive and condition-based maintenance plans.
- You will support crew and office staff in fault finding, repairs and root cause analysis of E&I related incidents.
Your experience and knowledge will be used to improve our newbuilding specification, you will review E&I drawings and you support the electrical site supervisor on our newbuilding projects.
We ask
- That you hold a Bachelor or Master’s degree in electrical engineering
- You have 5 to10 years’ experience in (international) maritime industry
- You have experience in trouble shooting, concept design and design review of E&I installation for seagoing vessels or offshore installations
- You use your organization sensitivity to set-up sustainable work relationships with different teams throughout the company
- You are willing, if necessary, to work irregularly and travel internationally
