Project Manager CFD Offshore

What are you going to do?
You carry out (research) projects for the maritime sector: from quotation to reporting and advice. You work on challenging hydrodynamic issues and where possible you publish your results in journal and conferences. You prepare numerical models, perform calculations, and analyse the results. You implement technical improvements within commercial projects and optimize and automate the workflow for numerical studies. You investigate new CFD applications to apply CFD studies more widely in future projects. With your creativity you integrate the tools developed by R&D in the projects.
Who are we looking for?
You have a Master degree and possibly a PhD degree in a technical field and practical project management skills. You have good reporting and presentation skills and you like to advise clients to improve their concept, design or operation. You should also have a good command of the English language and be willing to learn Dutch if that is not your mother tongue. You have experience in applying or developing CFD software. Experience with Paraview, Linux and Python and affinity with hydrodynamic simulations is a plus. You are familiar with viscous hydromechanics and you can analyse, implement and apply physical models.
