Watch the virtual showcases of companies via the On Demand page. Showcases are presentations about recent innovations, new products or services. Also, employers tell about their company and what they offer jobseekers. Finally you will find information about your career in the maritime, offshore and energy sector.     Bringing power to shore

    Working at Boskalis is about creating new horizons and sustainable solutions. In a world where population growth, an increase of global trade, demand for (new) energy, and climate change are driving forces, we challenge our colleagues to make their mark in finding innovative and relevant solutions for complex infrastructural and marine projects in a sustainable way. A major recent project for Boskalis was the installation of four 220kV export cables that link the Borssele offshore wind farms in the North Sea to the high-voltage grid in the Netherlands. This project is a great example of the unique combination of activities and capabilities of Boskalis. Colleagues Elisabeth, Leon en Rick will tell you more about how they made their mark in the Borssele project.

    In this showcase Lotte Bosschieter takes you into the world of offshore. She talks about a super cool and innovative project, called North Sea Wind Power Hub. The aim of this project is a coordinated roll-out of North Sea Wind Power Hubs facilitates an accelerated deployment of large scale offshore wind in the North Sea required to support realizing the Paris Agreements target in time, with minimum environmental impact and at the lowest cost for society (urgency & cost savings), while maintaining security of supply. Triton represents a step forward in the digital connection of the maritime world and stimulates increased sustainability in shipping.     From fabrication yard to job site: Total Ethane Cracker Project
    Roll Group transported 22 modules for the Total Ethane cracker project in the USA, between April and October 2019. The transport covered seven single voyages, using both RollDock and BigRoll vessels. The services and expertise of Roll-Lift also played a part in the completion of the land transport aspects of the project. The modules for Total’s new cracker were constructed in Hamriyah (UAE). After completion, Roll Group rolled the modules on board the vessels for transportation to Port Arthur (USA). Due to the size of the modules, the BigRoll Module Carriers were utilized on two voyages. After unloading the BigRoll vessels in Beaumont, the intermediate transport to Port Arthur was arranged by Roll-Lift.
