Odfjell Gets Two Casing Services Contracts from Shell

Odfjell Well Services a part of Odfjell Drilling, is awarded two contracts for Tubular Running Services for different parts of Shell’s activities in Northern Europe. The two contracts have a total value of 150 million NOK.

The new contracts with Shell support our market position in Northern Europe. We have supported Shell’s well operations since 2005 and are pleased to continue the excellent cooperation. Norske Shell has awarded Odfjell Well Services a contract for Tubular Running Services for Shell’s well activities in Norway. The contract duration is three years with 2*1 year options.

Nederlandse Aardolie Maatschappij BV (NAM), Shell UK Ltd and Shell E & P Ireland Ltd has awarded Odfjell Well Services a contract for Tubular Running Services primarily for Shell’s well activities in Netherlands. The contract duration is four years with 2*2 years options

The activities will be supported from Odfjell Well Services organization in Norway, UK and Netherlands.

Odfjell Well Services is a part of Odfjell Drilling. Odfjell Well Services supplies a wide range of services to the Oil Industry. The service range comprises drill tool rental, tubular rental, casing and tubing running and mooring services. The company is market leader in the North Sea and has over the recent years developed its business in 15 countries in Europe, Middle East and Asia.

Odfjell Drilling celebrates in 2013 its 40 years anniversary as an international drilling contractor. We are providing mobile offshore drilling units for harsh environment and ultra deep water drilling operations, platform drilling, engineering and well services. Odfjell Drilling currently operates five modern drilling units in Norway, Tanzania, Angola and Brazil.
