Offshore Wind Farm Engineer  Working Position that Didn’t Exist in UK Decade Ago

As the world changes faster and faster every day, mainly under the influence of rapid advancement in technological development, the demand for workforce is keeping up by creating new working positions.

Among various jobs that emerged in the UK, for which one couldn’t have applied ten years ago, the position of an offshore wind farm engineer ranks as one of five such jobs listed in an article on the Guardian’s work blog.

The UK’s offshore wind industry developed rapidly after its first major offshore wind farm, North Hoyle, was built in 2003 off the North Wales coast. Nowadays, the country is a place where one of the world’s largest offshore wind farms is being built and where skilled workforce in this field is highly appreciated.
